Nutritional Requirements of Bacillus thuringiensis During Different Phases of Growth, Sporulation and Germination Evaluated by Plackett-Burman Method [PDF]
The effects of different sources of carbon, nitrogen and some of trace elements on cultivation of Bacillus thuringiensis H14 were studied. Glucose, glycerol, sodium acetate, (NH4)2SO4, corn steep liquor, yeast extract, hydrolyzed casein, Ca2+, Mg2+ and ...

Synthesis of as-grown superconducting MgB_2 thin films by molecular beam epitaxy in UHV conditions
As-grown superconducting MgB_2 thin films have been grown on SrTiO_3(001), MgO(001), and Al_2O_3(0001) substrates by a molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) method with novel co-evaporation conditions of low deposition rate in ultra-high vacuum.

An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

Effects of Carbon Nanoparticles on Triboelectro‐Induced Surface Defects
Carbon nanoparticles added to grease modify the electrocontact behavior. The synergy of particle concentration and electric current dominates the surface damage of metals in contact. Electrical surface damage caused by current leakage is a critical challenge in high‐performance applications such as electric vehicle (EV) drivetrains and wind turbine ...
