Co-Evaporated Cs2AgBiBr6 Double Perovskites for Solar Cells

2019
Lead halide perovskites constitute a promising material for various opto-electronic applications, most prominently photovoltaics. The organic-inorganic perovskites that have been mostly investigated for use as photovoltaic absorbers, e.g. MAPbI3, face two main issues that hinder their large-scale application: A lack of stability towards environmental ...

Numerical simulation studies of a fully inorganic Cs2AgBiBr6 perovskite solar device

Optical Materials, 2020
Abstract With perovskite solar cell (PSC) technology on the brink of commercialization, the use of lead and degradable components remain a concern. We have carried out simulation studies to explore a non-toxic and inorganic device utilizing Cs2AgBiBr6 as the active layer and Cu2O as the hole transport layer (HTL).

One-Step Rapid Growth of Cs2AgBiBr6/Cs3Bi2Br9/Cs2AgBiBr6 Heterojunction Flakes with Enhanced Photocatalytic Ability toward the Photodegradation of Organic Pollutants.

ACS applied materials & interfaces
Bi-based halide perovskites excel in photocatalysis due to low toxicity and high stability but face challenges like limited photo-generated carrier concentration and separation efficiency. Emerging halide perovskite heterojunctions improve carrier separation, yet their synthesis is complex, and reports regarding pollutant degradation are scarce.
