Occupational Contact Urticaria, Protein Contact Dermatitis and Concomitant Airway Diseases in the Finnish Register of Occupational Diseases in 2005-2020: Main Causes and Occupations at Risk. [PDF]
This Finnish registry study shows that concomitant occupational asthma and rhinitis are common in patients with occupational contact urticaria or protein contact dermatitis, often sharing the same exposure. When evaluating occupational immediate allergy, both skin and airway symptoms should be considered.

Protocatechuic Acid Alleviates D-Gal-Induced Renal Senescence and Injury in Mice by Regulating Taurine Metabolism. [PDF]
Protocatechuic acid attenuates D‐gal‐induced renal aging through regulation of CSAD‐mediated taurine metabolism, thereby alleviating oxidative stress and inflammation. ABSTRACT Protocatechuic acid (PCA), a natural phenolic compound with antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory properties, has been proposed as a potential therapeutic agent against aging ...

A Japanese infant with fulminant type 1 diabetes with disease-sensitive CSAD polymorphism and HLA haplotype. [PDF]
Fulminant type 1 diabetes mellitus (FT1DM) is a subtype of type 1 diabetes (T1DM) with an acute onset. There are limited reports on FT1DM in pediatric patients. Here, we report the case of a Japanese female infant with FT1DM, representing the youngest female with FT1DM documented to date.

RBM17 promotes hepatocellular carcinoma progression by regulating lipid metabolism and immune microenvironment: implications for therapeutic targeting [PDF]
Variable splicing (AS) plays important roles in tumor progression. However, the role of the AS factor RBM17 in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has not yet been elucidated. We used label-free proteomics, single-cell sequencing (scRNA-seq)
