Large-Scene Polar Format Algorithm for Circular SAR Subaperture Imaging

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Circular synthetic aperture radar (CSAR) is an advanced mechanism with the capability of three-dimensional imaging, which can continuously observe the omnidirectional scattering characteristic of the ground scene.

Interlayer‐Catalyst Method for Metal‐Assisted Chemical Etching of Ultra‐High Aspect Ratio Silicon Nanostructures

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 16, 25 August 2026.
An advanced patterning method is presented for metal‐assisted chemical etching. The interlayer replaces the resist and enables catalyst deposition on a clean interface. The prepared samples show improved performance with a more reproducible etching profile, higher aspect ratio, and increased consistency over a larger area.

Ultra-High Resolution Imaging of Facades and Vertical Infrastructure by Carborne SAR and Airborne CSAR

open access: yes, 2022
129136In this paper we propose a strategy to focus ultra-high resolution single channel carborne SAR and airborne circular SAR (CSAR) data to image facades and vertical infrastructure. We illustrate the related theoretical background and the design of an

Modelling the Four‐Dimensional Power Line Sag Dynamics by Point Signature in Time‐Series Synthetic‐Aperture Radar Images

open access: yesHigh Voltage, Volume 11, Issue 4, Page 1090-1101, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Power lines in synthetic‐aperture radar (SAR) images are reflected as point signatures, which fluctuate annually in both the azimuth and range directions. A novel framework is proposed in this paper to evaluate the four‐dimensional dynamic status of power line sag using those point signatures in time‐series SAR images.

MMS Observations of the Energetic Particles Within Kelvin‐Helmholtz Waves at the Boundary of the 10 May 2024 Coronal Mass Ejection (CME)

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 13, 16 July 2026.
Abstract On 10 May 2024, Earth was hit by a CME that drove the largest geomagnetic storm in 20 years. Multi‐spacecraft observations previously showed that the ∼100 nT north‐south IMF bz ${b}_{z}$ variation was driven by Kelvin‐Helmholtz waves with wavelength ∼250 RE ${R}_{E}$ and reconnection jets in the ±z $\pm z$‐direction (Nykyri, 2024a, https://doi.

CSAR Benchmark Exercise of 2010: Selection of the Protein–Ligand Complexes

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Information and Modeling, 2011
A major goal in drug design is the improvement of computational methods for docking and scoring. The Community Structure Activity Resource (CSAR) aims to collect available data from industry and academia which may be used for this purpose ( www.csardock.org ).

Color Center Formation in Silicon‐On‐Insulator for On‐Chip Photonic Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 27, 17 July 2026.
ABSTRACT Color centers in silicon have great potential as single photon sources for quantum technologies. Some of them – like the T center – also possess optically‐active spins that enable spin‐photon interfaces for generating entangled photons and multi‐spin registers. This paper explores the generation of several types of color centers in silicon for

Freestanding Polymer Metasurface Supporting Higher‐Order Optical Resonances for Strong Field Enhancement in TMD Monolayers

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 35, 23 June 2026.
A freestanding polymer metasurface is developed to enhance light emission from atomically thin semiconductors. By supporting higher‐order optical resonances that concentrate electromagnetic fields at the surface, the platform significantly improves coupling between light and WS2 monolayer.

Height‐Dependent Evolution of the Ionospheric Response to the May 2024 Superstorm: Global GNSS‐POD, GNSS‐RO, and Ground‐Based Observations

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Capturing global ionospheric response during extreme geomagnetic storms remains a major observational challenge. During 10–11 May, 2024 superstorm, we investigate the height‐dependent response of the F‐region using multi‐constellation GNSS‐POD limb‐sounding measurements from COSMIC‐2, Spire, PlanetiQ, and FengYun‐3 satellites. Approximately 12,
