The Influence of Ethical Ideologies on Corporate Social Performance in Small and Medium‐Sized Enterprises in the United Kingdom

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Research addressing the microfoundations of corporate social performance (CSP) in small and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs) remains sparse. This paper aims to investigate how SME managers' ethical ideology affects CSP and examines the mediating role of their CSR orientation (CSRO): economic, legal, ethical, and philanthropic.

Classification of Motor Functions from Electroencephalogram (EEG) Signals Based on an Integrated Method Comprised of Common Spatial Pattern and Wavelet Transform Framework

open access: yesSensors, 2019
In this work, an algorithm for the classification of six motor functions from an electroencephalogram (EEG) signal that combines a common spatial pattern (CSP) filter and a continuous wavelet transform (CWT), is investigated.

A Mining-Based Compression Approach for Constraint Satisfaction Problems

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we propose an extension of our Mining for SAT framework to Constraint satisfaction Problem (CSP). We consider n-ary extensional constraints (table constraints). Our approach aims to reduce the size of the CSP by exploiting the structure of

Confined Hot Carrier Cooling Via Excited‐State Energy Gap Engineering in Graphyne Carbon Allotropes

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
The excited‐state energy gap (EEG), regulated by the concentration of sp‐hybridized carbon, provides an effective handle for tuning electron–phonon coupling behavior. This design enables long‐lived confinement of hot carriers near the top of the EEG with controllable energy levels.

Study of The Optical Properties of Copper Oxide Thin Films Prepared by Chemical Spray Pyrolysis Technique [PDF]

open access: yesمجلة التربية والعلم
In this paper, thin films of Copper Oxide (CuO) were deposited on glass substrates using the chemical spray pyrolysis method at different temperatures (300, 350 and 400)°C under a pressure of 2 bar.

Retracing CSP

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2006
AbstractThe original CSP was a language for parallel imperative programs communicating by synchronized message-passing. Most of the early foundational work concerned a more abstract process algebra, now known as Theoretical CSP (or TCSP). The early semantic models involved communication traces, refusals, failures, and divergence traces.

Solar Fuels Via Methane Valorization: Thermochemical Pathways, Unified Metrics, and Techno‐Economic Perspectives

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A first‐of‐its‐kind review benchmarks three solar methane valorization pathways with unified performance metrics for clean fuel production. Meeting global climate targets and sustainable energy demands requires carbon‐neutral fuels and innovative conversion pathways.

Relating Severe Poverty and Chronic Poverty [PDF]

open access: yes
The severely poor are very poor since their consumption is far below the absolute poverty line, and the chronically poor are very poor since their consumption persists for long periods below the absolute poverty line. A combination of chronic poverty and

Engineering Crowdsourced Stream Processing Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A crowdsourced stream processing system (CSP) is a system that incorporates crowdsourced tasks in the processing of a data stream. This can be seen as enabling crowdsourcing work to be applied on a sample of large-scale data at high speed, or ...

Projecting the benefit of vericiguat in PARADIGM‐HF and DAPA‐HF populations: Insights from the VICTORIA trial

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1479-1484, April 2025.
Abstract Aims The VICTORIA trial demonstrated a significant reduction in the primary composite outcome of heart failure (HF) hospitalization or cardiovascular death with vericiguat relative to placebo in high‐risk HF. This study aimed to contextualize treatment effects of vericiguat in populations with varying risk profiles simulated from the PARADIGM ...
