Improved Corrosion Resistance of a Micro‐Alloyed Carbon Steel Assessed by Multi‐Element Electrical Resistance Probes and Coupons in Natural Seawater and Soil

open access: yesMaterials and Corrosion, EarlyView.
Multi‐element electrical resistance probes fabricated from industrial carbon steels enable real‐time corrosion monitoring in natural seawater and soil. A micro‐alloyed grade (AMLoCor) demonstrates up to 2.4 times improved uniform corrosion resistance over conventional S355 GP steel.

Clinical Progression in Alpha‐Synuclein Positive LRRK2‐PD and Sporadic Parkinson's Disease: A Longitudinal Analysis

open access: yesMovement Disorders Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
Abstract Background LRRK2‐Parkinson's disease (LRRK2‐PD) is biologically heterogeneous with approximately 30% lacking aggregated alpha synuclein (αSyn) in cerebrospinal fluid by seed amplification assay (SAA). Prior work has suggested slower progression in LRRK2‐PD compared to sporadic PD (sPD).

Adaptive Transform-Domain Framework for Noise-Limited Radar Modulation Recognition

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society
Recognizing phase-coded radar waveforms at low visibility is often handled through learning-based classifiers, but such methods require training data and tend to lose reliability when the noise statistics or operating conditions change. This work follows

Oxidative Stability and Rheological Features in Recycled Composites Based on Postconsumer Polypropylene and Antioxidant‐Loaded Silicas

open access: yesPolymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.
Role of antioxidant supported on MCM‐41 and nano‐silica in enhancing oxidation induction time (OIT) and nucleation performance. ABSTRACT Plastic recycling efforts are hindered by the reduction of material properties in recyclates stemming from oxidative degradation of their polymeric chains.

Identifying Suitable Front Contacts for High‐Efficiency Cd(Se,Te) Solar Cells on Space‐Qualified Cover Glass

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.
Front contact selection governs interfacial stability in CdTe‐based (Cd(Se,Te)) solar cells on ultra‐thin space‐qualified cover glass. Optimized TCO/emitter combinations suppress interdiffusion and deliver up to 16.2% AM0 efficiency with high specific power, demonstrating strong potential for lightweight space photovoltaics.

Core stability in women with and without chronic pelvic pain

open access: yesPM&R, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Physical activity (PA) and core stability levels are unknown for women with musculoskeletal chronic pelvic pain (CPP) compared to healthy women. At this time, there is no validated treatment method aimed specifically at CPP. Objective To elucidate the PA habits and core stability of women with and without CPP.

Internal Structure, Kinematics, and Prehistory of Frozen Debris Lobe‐A (FDL‐A), Brooks Range, Alaska

open access: yesPermafrost and Periglacial Processes, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Frozen Debris Lobe‐A (FDL‐A)—one of hundreds of FDLs in the Brooks Range of northern Alaska—is a slow‐moving landslide in permafrost that has been the subject of research since 2008 due to its close proximity to the Dalton Highway. Here, we synthesize more than a decade's worth of climate and surface measurements of monitored FDLs, and the ...

Refining the boundaries of the nodal CTV in the middle neck for nasopharyngeal carcinoma

open access: yesPrecision Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
This study proposes fascial‐based optimizations for middle neck clinical target volume (CTV) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), excluding the para‐pharyngeal space (PPS) and adjusting boundaries to reduce radiation volume while ensuring at‐risk nodal coverage.

Management of De Novo miN1 Prostate Cancer in the PSMA‐PET Era

open access: yesThe Prostate, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Prostate‐specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography (PSMA‐PET) is reshaping nodal staging in prostate cancer by detecting regional lymph node metastases with greater accuracy than conventional imaging. This has created a new cohort of patients with N1M0 disease detectable only on advanced imaging, raising important ...
