Enantioselective binding of l,d-phenylalanine to ct DNA
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2009The enantioselective binding of L,D-phenylalanine to calf thymus DNA was studied by absorption, circular dichroism, fluorescence quenching, viscosity, salt effect and emission experiments. The results obtained from absorption, circular dichroism, fluorescence quenching and viscosity experiments excluded the intercalative binding and salt effect ...

Cranial CT and MRI in diseases with DNA repair defects
Neuroradiology, 1992The CT and MRI appearances of 5 patients with Cockayne's syndrome, 5 with ataxia telangiectasia and 1 with Fanconi's anaemia are reported. These conditions, together with Bloom's syndrome and xeroderma pigmentosum are regarded as disorders of DNA repair.

Correlation between CT and DNA contents in peripheral lung cancers
European Journal of Radiology, 1991The DNA contents of 30 lung cancers were correlated with preoperative chest CT findings. Tumors with diameters less than 4 cm had lower DNA contents than larger ones, and tumors with spiculated margins had lower DNA than those with lobulated or smooth margins.

Chiral self-assembly of fullerene clusters on CT-DNA templates
Faraday Discussions, 2018Fullerene nanoclusters with a unique cluster size (3–5 nm) interact with DNA forming chiral assemblies, thus perturbing the highly networked structure of CT-DNA.

Linear dichroism studies of the complexes between CT–DNA and distamycins
Biopolymers, 1989AbstractThe study of the monomeric chromophore of the distamycins reported in Ref. 1 was used here to build up a description of the electronic states of the whole oligopeptide by the exciton theory. Liquid crystal–linear dichroism (LC–LD) spectra of the distamycins were recorded by using as orienting solvents both thermotropic and lyotropic mesomorphic

Study on the interactions between B-norcholesteryl benzimidazole compounds with ct-DNA
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2020The study of molecule-DNA interaction is very important for designing an improved therapeutic agent. In previous studies, we synthesized some B-norcholesteryl benzimidazole compounds, and the tests on cancer cells showed that these compounds had good in vitro anti-cancer activities.
