New Taxa and Combinations of Ctenitis from Guatemala

American Fern Journal, 1977

A new species and a new combination in Ctenitis (Dryopteridaceae) from South America

Brittonia, 2017

The new combination corresponds to the species known until now as C. pedicellata. This species should be called C.

The effects of natural and artificial edges on phenology: A case study of Ctenitis submarginalis

Austral Ecology, 2020
AbstractHabitat fragmentation increases forest edges, which in turn influence the microclimate to which ferns are exposed. Ferns do not depend on pollinators or dispersers, which make abiotic variables responsible for triggering the manifestation of their phenophases.

The Fern-Genera Tectaria, Heterogonium and Ctenitis in the Mascarene Islands

Kew Bulletin, 1983
The information here presented is based on a study of many recent collections in comparison with the more fragmentary older ones, resulting in revisions of specific concepts and of synonymy. Ctenitis lorencei and C. canacae are described as new species and C. crinita (Poir.) Ching var. atrata and var. setacea as new varieties.
