Monte Carlo cubature construction [PDF]
AbstractIn numerical integration, cubature methods are effective, especially when the integrands can be well-approximated by known test functions, such as polynomials. However, the construction of cubature formulas has not generally been known, and existing examples only represent the particular domains of integrands, such as hypercubes and spheres. In

Representations of Multi-Attribute Grain Quality
Grain quality is typically measured via several attributes. As these attributes vary across shipments and time, grain quality can be described using multivariate probability or frequency distributions.

Efficient cubature rules [PDF]
73 new cubature rules are found for three standard multidimensional integrals with spherically symmetric regions and weights, using direct search with a numerical zero-finder. All but four of the new rules have fewer integration points than known rules of the same degree, and twenty are within three points of M{ö}ller's lower bound.

Evaluating a double integral using Euler's method and Richardson extrapolation
We transform a double integral into a second-order initial value problem, which we solve using Euler's method and Richardson extrapolation. For an example we consider, we achieve accuracy close to machine precision (~10-13).
