Commutative Algebras with Radical Cube Zero

Communications in Algebra, 2003
Abstract We present “canonical forms” of finite dimensional (quasi-Frobenius) commutative algebras Λ over a field k such that the radical cubed is zero and Λ modulo the radical is a product of copies of k. We also determine the isomorphism classes of the algebras Λ over some typical fields.

Modularity of strong normalization in the algebraic-λ-cube

Journal of Functional Programming, 1997
In this paper we present the algebraic-λ-cube, an extension of Barendregt's λ-cube with first- and higher-order algebraic rewriting. We show that strong normalization is a modular property of all the systems in the algebraic-λ-cube, provided that the first-order rewrite rules are non-duplicating and the higher-order rules satisfy the ...

COTRIPLE HOMOLOGY OF CROSSED 2-CUBES OF LIE ALGEBRAS

Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2013
The cotriple homology of crossed 2-cubes of Lie algebras is constructed and investigated. Namely, we calculate the cotriple homology of an inclusion crossed 2-cube of Lie algebras in terms of the bi-relative Chevalley–Eilenberg homologies. We also define in a natural way the Chevalley–Eilenberg homology of crossed 2-cubes of Lie algebras and study the

Cube term blockers without finiteness

Algebra Universalis, 2016
We show that an idempotent variety has a d-dimensional cube term if and only if its free algebra on two generators has no d-ary compatible cross. We employ Hall’s Marriage Theorem to show that an idempotent variety $${\mathcal{V}}$$V of finite signature ...

On algebras with radical cube zero

Archiv der Mathematik, 1989
Let \(A\) be a finite dimensional algebra over an algebraically closed field \(k\) and suppose that \(A\) has cubed zero radical. We show that if \(\text{Ext}^i_A(DA,A)=0\) for all \(i\geq 1\) then \(A\) is self-injective, where \(D=\Hom_k(-,k)\), and that if \(A\) is self-injective then every finitely generated \(A\)-module \(M\) with \(\text{Ext}^i_A(

Rubik’s cube and GeoGebra: a visual exploration of permutation groups

Revista do Instituto GeoGebra Internacional de São Paulo
This article aims to use the construction of the Rubik’s Cube in GeoGebra as a primary tool for visualization and manipulation in the teaching of permutation groups in Abstract Algebra.

Holistic and Algebraic Data Cube Computation Using MapReduce

2017 9th International Conference on Intelligent Human-Machine Systems and Cybernetics (IHMSC), 2017
As an important method of accelerating large data analysis, data cube computing has been a hot area. At present, the researches based on MapReduce mainly focus on algebraic data cube. In this paper, we use MapReduce as the basis of the algorithm. For the algebraic data cube, data cube lattice is divided into several regions, according to different ...
