2013 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium - IGARSS, 2013The Micro-sized Microwave Atmospheric Satellite (MicroMAS) is a 3U CubeSat (10×10×34 cm, ~4 kg) hosting a passive microwave spectrometer operating near the 118.75-GHz oxygen absorption line. MicroMAS is a dual-spinning 3U CubeSat that aims to address the need for low-cost, mission-flexible, and rapidly deployable spaceborne sensors.

Miniature Klystron for CubeSats
2020 IEEE 21st International Conference on Vacuum Electronics (IVEC), 2020We report progress on a miniature klystron amplifier for 1U (10×10×10cm) CubeSats with output power of 32 watts at Ka band (35.6 GHz) and saturated gain of 35 dB. Three beam testers have been built for testing the cathode and focusing structure. A narrow band microwave amplifier is currently under construction and will be discussed.
