Electrospun Carbon Nanofiber‐Based Multifunctional Electrocatalysts for Zinc‐Air Batteries and Overall Water Splitting: Fabrication, Progress, and Perspective

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The development of high‐performance and stable electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) plays a critical role in advancing clean energy technologies, including metal‐air batteries and hydrogen production through overall water splitting.

Influence of ionic bombardment on cubic boron nitride (c-BN) thin film deposition by r. f. magnetron sputtering

open access: yesRevista Facultad de Ingeniería Universidad de Antioquia, 2006
Thin films of cubic Boron Nitride (c-BN) were deposited by d. c. and r. f. (13,56 MHz) multi-target magnetron sputtering from high-purity (99,99 %) hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) target, in an Ar (95%)-N2 (5%) gas mixture.

Synthesis of atomically thin hexagonal boron nitride films on nickel foils by molecular beam epitaxy

open access: yes, 2015
Hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) is a layered two-dimensional material with properties that make it promising as a dielectric in various applications. We report the growth of h-BN films on Ni foils from elemental B and N using molecular beam epitaxy.

δ‐Bismuth Oxide Responsible for Tooth Discolouration—A Laboratory Investigation

open access: yesInternational Endodontic Journal, Volume 59, Issue 3, Page 538-548, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Aims To investigate the phase changes of bismuth oxide in contact with sodium hypochlorite responsible for tooth discolouration. Methodology Bismuth oxide (monoclinic α−phase; C) was mixed with sodium hypochlorite at 20°C, 37°C, and 60°C (B20, B37, B60) for a period of 24 weeks with weekly refreshing of solutions.

Anomalous transverse acoustic phonon broadening in the relaxor ferroelectric Pb(Mg_1/3Nb_2/3)O_3

open access: yes, 2001
The intrinsic linewidth $\Gamma_{TA}$ of the transverse acoustic (TA) phonon observed in the relaxor ferroelectric compound Pb(Mg$_{1/3}$Nb$_{2/3})_{0.8}$Ti$_{0.2}$O$_3$ (PMN-20%PT) begins to broaden with decreasing temperature around 650 K, nearly 300 K

Substrate-induced half-metallic property in epitaxial silicene

open access: yes, 2019
For most practical applications in electronic devices, two-dimensional materials should be transferred onto semiconducting or insulating substrates, since they are usually generated on metallic substrates.
