Matrix formulation of fuzzy rule-based systems [PDF]
In this paper, a matrix formulation of fuzzy rule based systems is introduced. A gradient descent training algorithm for the determination of the unknown parameters can also be expressed in a matrix form for various adaptive fuzzy networks.

Microfluidic Gratings for X‐Ray Phase Contrast Imaging
This work establishes a new protocol for the fabrication of X‐ray gratings that exploits the advantages of microfluidics and enables a more inexpensive, faster, and scalable production process. These X‐ray devices are fundamental for implementing X‐ray phase contrast imaging (XPCI) in laboratory and clinical settings, yet their costly and complex ...

Implementing imperfect information in fuzzy databases [PDF]
Information in real-world applications is often vague, imprecise and uncertain. Ignoring the inherent imperfect nature of real-world will undoubtedly introduce some deformation of human perception of real-world and may eliminate several substantial ...

Impact of Rapid Thermal Annealing on the Structural and Piezoelectric Properties of AlN Thin Films
Aluminum nitride (AlN) is a biocompatible piezoelectric material suitable for energy harvesting in MEMS resonators. Through rapid thermal annealing, a threshold for CMOS‐compatible processes is established. AlN improved its crystallinity and enhanced the piezoelectric coefficient by ∼160%. Devices show an improvement in the electromechanical properties

New operations on cubic intuitionistic fuzzy sets under P–order
Cubic intuitionistic fuzzy sets have the efficiency to handle hybrid information, which combines interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The aim is to define operators on cubic intuitionistic fuzzy sets that are capable of more effectively handling uncertain or imprecise information contained in image data.
