Serum 1,5‐Anhydroglucitol Identifies Residual Mortality Risk Beyond Time in Range in Type 2 Diabetes: A Cohort Study

Serum 1,5‐anhydroglucitol (1,5‐AG) and time in range (TIR) derived from continuous glucose monitoring have independent, complementary prognostic value in type 2 diabetes. Serum 1,5‐AG may capture glycemic variability beyond the scope of TIR and identifies residual mortality risk in participants with TIR > 70%.

Most of the Specific Genomic Regions of Agrobacterium fabrum Shape Phenolics Content of Medicago truncatula Roots

Agrobacterium fabrum harbour seven specific‐gene regions, whose annotation indicates a close connection with plant. To evaluate their involvement in plant‐bacteria interaction, deletion mutant strains of each specific region were inoculated onto Medicago truncatula roots. Root phenolics content was influenced by them.

To Align or Not to Align? That Is the Question

Abstract Previous studies have shown that vertically misaligned circulations are commonly found in weaker tropical cyclones (TCs) below hurricane strength, whereas TCs of hurricane intensity more typically exhibit vertically aligned vortices. Thus an important step in the TC intensification process is achieving a vertically aligned circulation.

Estimating Surface Explosion Yield From Single‐Channel Infrasound Signals at Regional Distances With Random‐Forest Regression

Abstract When detonated on the Earth's surface, large explosions emit distinctive acoustic signatures that propagate over vast distances with relatively low attenuation in the form of infrasound. Infrasound stations hundreds of kilometers from the impulsive source can record the propagated pressure signal, atmospheric conditions permitting.
