Flexible 3D Multi‐Material Printing beyond Layer‐by‐Layer Constraints via Sequential Multi‐Printer Fabrication

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We developed a flexible multi‐material printing strategy that employs sequential printing with different printers. This combined use of printers expands the accessible material scope. Moreover, incorporating Xolography as a sequential step enables support‐free, contactless printing, thereby enhancing structural design flexibility beyond conventional ...

The Evolution of Laser‐Induced Damage Patterns in Polymer Stabilized Liquid Crystals: Insights From Morphological Characterization and Thermo‐Driven Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐domain PSLC architecture enables direct comparison of alignment‐dependent laser damage within a single device. Crack‐like and seal‐like morphologies emerge under different damage conditions, and their evolution is interpreted through quantitative image analysis and heat‐driven simulations.

Cubic analogues of the Jacobian theta functions and the Jacobian elliptic functions

open access: yesJournal of Number Theory, 2013
Abstract In this paper, the Jacobian theta functions, the Jacobian elliptic functions, and their cubic analogues are introduced. Then, the properties satisfied the cubic analogues are discussed.

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

Differential equations involving cubic theta functions and Eisenstein series

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we derive systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) satisfied by modular forms of level three, which are level three versions of Ramanujan's system of ODEs satisfied by the classical Eisenstein series.

Cognitive Trajectories from Preclinical Alzheimer's Disease to Dementia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A continuous, multi‐domain characterization of cognitive decline across the Alzheimer's disease spectrum identifies when individual cognitive measures become abnormal. Episodic memory declines first, followed by executive function, language, processing speed, and visuospatial abilities, supporting improved clinical interpretation and optimized endpoint

A new model for the theta divisor of the cubic threefold [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
In this paper we give a birational model for the theta divisor of the intermediate Jacobian of a generic cubic threefold $X$. We use the standard realization of $X$ as a conic bundle and a $4-$dimensional family of plane quartics which are totally ...

Direct Photocurrent Detection of Optical Vortex Based on the Orbital Photo Galvanic Effect: Progress, Challenge, and Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Direct orbital angular momentum (OAM) detection through the orbital photogalvanic effect offers a scalable route for integrated optoelectronics. This perspective evaluates symmetry‐driven material selection and demonstrates how electrode matrices enable the resolution of complex, mixed OAM modes.
