Nitidulidae (Coleoptera: Cucujoidea) of Vanuatu

Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology, 2020
Abstract A checklist to the Nitidulidae of Vanuatu is provided based on a combination of historical museum specimens and recent field expeditions. A dichotomous key to the described species recorded from the country is provided. Specific data per island is given where available; in addition, broader distributions are outlined for each described taxon.

Searching for natural lineages within the Cerylonid Series (Coleoptera: Cucujoidea)

Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, 2008
Phylogenetic relationships within the diverse beetle superfamily Cucujoidea are poorly known. The Cerylonid Series (C.S.) is the largest of all proposed superfamilial cucujoid groups, comprising eight families and representing most of the known cucujoid species diversity. The monophyly of the C.S., however, has never been formally tested and the higher-

Biogeography and Evolution of New Zealand Priasilphidae (Coleoptera: Cucujoidea)

New Zealand Entomologist, 2005
The phylogenetic relationships of the seven species of the endemic New Zealand genus Priasilpha were reconstructed by a cladistic analysis of 22 adult characters. One fully resolved tree was produced that was rooted with the Tasmanian species Priastichus megathorax with the following relationships among Priasilpha (distributions in square brackets): (P.

Annotated Checklist of the Iranian Erotylidae (Coleoptera: Cucujoidea)

Entomological News, 2020
An annotated checklist for the Iranian Erotylidae (Coleoptera: Cucujoidea) is proposed. Based upon a literature review and new data, a total of ten species within six genera, and three subfamilies Cryptophilinae (two species), Erotylinae (six species) and Xenoscelinae (two species) are given for the fauna of Iran.

First Record of the Family Passandridae in Korea (Coleoptera: Cucujoidea)

Entomological Research, 2005
A taxonomic study of the Korean Passandridae is presented. The family, genus and species (Ancistria apicalis Reitter) are reported for the first time in Korea. Comparison with a lectotype was made. An illustration of the habitus and line drawings of diagnostic characters are provided.

Taxonomy of Languriinae Crotch (Coleoptera: Cucujoidea: Erotylidae) in Korea

Korean Journal of Applied Entomology, 2014
We conducted taxonomic study of Languriinae in Korea. Nine species that belong to two genera of one tribe were identified in Korea. Two species, Anadastus ruficeps (Crotch) and Anadastus praetermissus (Janson), were recorded for the first time in Korea. Description, photographs of adults, illustrations of diagnostic characteristics, and a key have been
