SOME years ago my attention was directed to a paper by Morot (1882)1 (carefully abstracted by A. V. Wille2). It seems to have been overlooked in physiological literature. Since his results seemed strange, I carried out some experiments to test them.

Crossed Uncrossed Differentials (CUDs) have long been used as surrogate for the interhemispheric transfer time (IHTT). Evidence is presented that macular vision is the province of the major hemisphere, wherein all commands are initiated regardless of the laterality of the effectors of such commands.

Contending that media users are more than consumers and that the mass media are able to achieve more in the public sphere than simply meet market demand, Mummery and Rodan argue in this chapter that some types of mass media may in fact fulfil public sphere responsibilities. The authors demonstrate how forums such as broadsheet letters to the editor and

Abstract The neutral diatomic molecule, CuD, with rotational excitation temperature of 0.23 eV, has been positively identified in the Burnout V apparatus. The molecule CD has also been observed by replacing portions of the copper, Burnout V liner material with carbon. The dependence of the molecular spectral radiance on combinations of carbon, copper

The parallel computing power offered by graphic processing units (GPUs) has been recently exploited to support general purpose applications – by exploiting the availability of general API and the single-instruction multiple-thread-style parallelism present in several classes of problems (e.g.
