Computed tomography reveals multiple origins of extreme caudal vertebral pneumaticity in sauropod dinosaurs

Computed tomography reveals the endocranial anatomy of Crocodylia: Implications for phylogenetic relationships and ecomorphological convergence across Crocodylomorpha

The evaluation of the endocranial anatomy of 43 crocodylian species reveals several differences, including variation in the curvature of the encephalic endocast, the size of the endosseous labyrinth and paratympanic sinuses, and the presence of additional snout sinuses.

Iron homeostasis in the annual and perennial stem zones of Arabis alpina

Iron accumulates in secondary growth tissues in the perennial stem zone and is correlated with particular gene expression patterns in the perennial model plant Arabis alpina. Abstract Plants store nutrients, including the micronutrient iron, in bioavailable forms to support growth in subsequent seasons. The perennial lifestyle is preponderant in nature.
