Virtual Cultivated Land Trade: A New Thinking for Cultivated Land Resources Security

2010 International Conference on Management and Service Science, 2010
Virtual cultivated land refers to the quantity of cultivated land resources needed during the production of goods and service. This paper chose four kinds of main grain products i.e. rice, maize, wheat and soybean, and calculated their trade volume of virtual cultivated land. The result showed, from 1978 to 2007 the average annual net import of virtual

The development of a cultivated land forecast system

IEEE International IEEE International IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2004. IGARSS '04. Proceedings. 2004, 2004
A cultivated land forecast system based on Grey-Markov Chain Forecast Model has been developed for land management of Hubei Province, P. R. China. The model and detailed prediction steps of the system are described in the article. Also, as a system designed for a better decision-making in land management, the prediction result is represented by both ...

Crop Selection for Cultivable Land

International Journal of Information Technology & Decision Making
A multicriteria decision framework based on Stochastic Multicriteria Acceptability Analysis–Matching (SMAA-M) is proposed to support crop selection for cultivable land. The framework addresses crop–land unit matching under explicit preference uncertainty, without relying on fixed or a priori criterion weights.
