Carbonization Tuned Core‐Shell Fe3O4@C Nanostructures with Enhanced Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The core‐shell structured Fe3O4@C composites are prepared by employing an in situ polymerization and carbonization treatment method. The effect of carbonization temperature on electromagnetic wave absorption of H‐FO@C composites is symmetrically analyzed, and the impedance matching and attenuation ability are improved significantly by controlling ...

KoCHET: a Korean Cultural Heritage corpus for Entity-related Tasks [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
As digitized traditional cultural heritage documents have rapidly increased, resulting in an increased need for preservation and management, practical recognition of entities and typification of their classes has become essential. To achieve this, we propose KoCHET - a Korean cultural heritage corpus for the typical entity-related tasks, i.e., named ...

Future of Cultural Heritage [PDF]

open access: yesNew Review of Information Networking, 2016
Everything we do, create, and produce, such as intellectual and artistic works, performances, and so forth, can be defined as culture. We own a very rich cultural heritage of the past. Yet, the common cultural heritage that belongs to the humanity continues to be looted and destroyed due to negligence, armed conflicts, and wars.

Time‐ and Frequency‐Domain THz Imaging for the Characterization of Subwavelength Tags in Anticounterfeiting Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Anticounterfeiting optical devices typically rely on random surface patterns revealed under IR/vis/UV light. Despite its security, this method suffers from the unavoidable deterioration of exposed superficial patterns. The proposed technique utilizes the high penetration depth and resolution of THz radiation to reveal submillimeter metallic patterns ...

Electrochemical Determination of Gallic Acid in Tea Samples Using Pyramidal Pt Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A novel electrochemical sensor based on pyramidal Pt nanoparticles for gallic acid detection in black and green tea samples is developed. The sensor is prepared by a simple drop casting of nanoparticles on the electrode surface, without any supporting materials, such as polymer matrices and surfactants.
