I recently heard a presentation by E. V. Semenov, the director of the Russian State Science Foundation (RGNF). He said that culturology has not been included in the Foundation's rubrication. There are grants, but there is no rubric, because so far culturology is an extremely fluid area, and very diverse topics are relegated to it.
