Automation and Active Learning for the Multi‐Objective Optimization of Antibody Formulations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Successful antibody formulation necessitates balancing factors such as thermal stability, colloidal stability, and viscosity across a vast excipient design space. This work integrates robotic liquid handling, high‐throughput biophysical characterization, and multi‐objective Bayesian optimization in an iterative closed‐loop Design‐Build‐Test‐Learn cycle.

Process Optimization of Solution Blow Spinning for Poly (N‐Isopropylacrylamide) Fibers

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Solution blow spinning has emerged as a safe and scalable technique for fabricating thermoresponsive PNIPAM fibers. The influence of key parameters on jet stability and fiber uniformity is determined through both rheological analysis and statistical process optimization. A Box–Behnken design reveals an optimized window for producing PNIPAM fibers below

PERFECTA Loaded Lipid Cubosomes for 19F‐MRI: Physico‐Chemical Characterization

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Phytantriol‐based cubosomes loaded with PERFCTA, a fluorinated MRI probe, were developed as promising systems for imaging and drug delivery. The nanoparticles showed high PERFECTA encapsulation efficiency, strong fluorine MRI signals, and optimal colloidal stability in biological media.

Generalized Szego Theorems and Asymptotics of Cumulants by Graphical Methods [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1992
We obtain some general asymptotics results about a class of deterministic sums called "sums with dependent indices," which generalize a classical theorem of Szegö. The above type of sums is encountered when establishing convergence to the Gaussian distribution of sums of Wick products by the method of cumulants.

Radar Emitter Recognition Based on the Energy Cumulant of Short Time Fourier Transform and Reinforced Deep Belief Network

open access: yesSensors, 2018
To cope with the complex electromagnetic environment and varied signal styles, a novel method based on the energy cumulant of short time Fourier transform and reinforced deep belief network is proposed to gain a higher correct recognition rate for radar ...

Fibrilpaint: A Class of Amyloid‐Targeting Peptides

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
FibrilPaints are modular peptides engineered to recognize amyloid fibrils. By systematically varying charge, sequence, and termini, their binding behavior can be tuned while retaining recognition. Successful binding ″paints″ fibrils for visualization and opens routes toward targeted degradation and diagnostic applications.

Benchmarking the Cumulant Expansion Method Using Dicke Superradiance

open access: yesPhotonics
Collective superradiant decay of a tightly packed inverted quantum emitter ensemble is among the most intensely studied phenomena in quantum optics. Since the seminal work of Dicke more than half a century ago, a plethora of theoretical calculations in ...

Unprecedented Wall‐Atomically Thick Bi5O7Br Nanotubes Embedding Abundant Bi Nanodots Boosting Efficiently Photothermal Coupling Catalytic CO2 Conversion

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Atomically thin Bi5O7Br nanotubes embedded with abundant Bi nanodots were constructed as an efficient photothermal catalyst for CO2 conversion. The localized surface plasmon resonance and photothermal effect of Bi nanodots synergistically enhance light harvesting, charge utilization, and reaction kinetics, resulting in significantly improved CO2 to CO ...

Central DOA Estimation Method for Exponential-Type Coherent Distributed Source Based on Fourth-Order Cumulant

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2020
The performance of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation for sparse arrays applied to the distributed source is worse than that applied to the point source model.
