Mesenchymal Cystic Hamartoma Presenting with Spontaneous Pneumothorax

Computed tomography chest scan demonstrated a large bulla involving the right middle lobe. Recurrence of the pneumothorax after initial closed chest tube drainage necessitated thoracotomy and wedge resection.

An Unusual Cause of an Incidental Lung Mass

Wedge excision of the lesion revealed a leiomyoma that had a similar histological appearance to uterine ′fibroids′ removed eight years previously.
