Pneumopathie à Cunninghamella bertholletiae compliquant une leucémie aigüe lymphoblastique
Annales de Pathologie, 2007Pulmonary mucormycosis occur in immunosuppressed patients with a neutropenic treatment or a malignant neoplasia. Although the histological study alone cannot enable species identification, the pathologist usually makes the diagnosis of mucormycosis and can eliminate other filamentous mycoses such as aspergillosis or scedosporiosis.

[Zygomycosis caused by Cunninghamella bertholletiae].
Rinsho byori. The Japanese journal of clinical pathology, 1991Cunninghamella bertholletiae, an uncommon cause of human fungal infection, has been reported with increasing frequency in recent years in Western countries. Abstract: Mucormycosis is an uncommon fungal infection, which generally develops in immunosuppressed hosts. In particular, pulmonary infection by Cunninghamella bertholletiae, a rare species of Mucor, is characterized by invasiveness and high mortality. Herein a case of pulmonary mucormycosis due to C.
