Continual Learning for Multimodal Data Fusion of a Soft Gripper
Models trained on a single data modality often struggle to generalize when exposed to a different modality. This work introduces a continual learning algorithm capable of incrementally learning different data modalities by leveraging both class‐incremental and domain‐incremental learning scenarios in an artificial environment where labeled data is ...

AVALIAÇÃO DA FORÇA DE RETENÇÃO DE COMPOSTOS ORGÂNICOS (COV) EM NANOESTRUTURAS DE CARBONO “CUP STACKED” [PDF]
Adsorption has been employed in the treatment (or simply concentration) of VOCs for environmental or industrial applications using several kinds of adsorbents. Due to its porous structure, activated carbon is often used for this purpose.

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.

Carbon nanotubes as fire gas sensors
Multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) possess properties that make them particularly relevant for sensing applications in both the gas and liquid phase. This study presents an evaluation of cheap readily available CVD grown MWCNTs for use as fire gas

Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...

Luminescence of Cup-Stacked Carbon Nanotubes and Its Application to Microchip Electrophoresis
