Mechanical and Durability Properties of Induction‐Furnace‐Slag‐Incorporated Recycled Aggregate Concrete

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering, Volume 2018, Issue 1, 2018., 2018
Most of the steel mills in Bangladesh use induction furnace which produces large quantities of slags that have very little use except land filling. Therefore, feasibility of using this slag is examined in concrete with recycled aggregate, which is another waste product that is generated due to removal of old structures.

Identification of temperature in cupola furnace based on the construction of the “slag composition – slag viscosity” model

open access: yesTechnology audit and production reserves
The object of the study in the work is the temperature regime of melting in a cupola. The existing problem is that due to the aggressive high-temperature environment, continuous measurement of the parameters of the internal environment in the working space of the cupola furnace is too difficult.

Properties of Concrete Made from Cupola Furnace Slag and Recycled Construction Aggregates

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Engineering and Technology Research, 2021
The replacement of traditional constituents of concrete with waste has garnered a lot of interest due to the increasing demand for natural resources used in concrete production. Hence, this study presents the outcome of an experimental investigation on the effect of partial replacement of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) at percentage levels of 0% to 25%
