Ordering Phenomena in Cuprates
2005Results of light-scattering experiments in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ (Bi-2212), La2–xSrxCuO4 (LSCO), and YBa2Cu3O6+x (Y-123) single crystals are presented. The emphasis is placed on the low doping range where the evolution of the metallic state from the antiferromagnetic one is studied.

Rehybridization and pairing in the cuprates
Physical Review B, 1996The correlation effects associated with the formation of the local Zhang-Rice singlet are shown to lead to a bound pair of holes in a simple three-band cluster model of the cuprates. The symmetry of the pair function is {ital d}{sub {ital x}{sup 2}{minus}{ital y}{sup 2}}.
