Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Two-magnon excitations in cuprates and nickelates [PDF]

We discuss two-magnon phonon-assisted infrared absorption in two-dimensional Heisenberg systems like the parent insulating high-T-c cuprates (spin 1/2) and nickelates (spin 1). The theoretical line shape is compared with experiments.

A phonon of appropriate momentum kF will open a band gap at the Fermi energy EF. The gap within the electronic density-of-states (DOS), N(EF), leads to a gain in electronic energy and a loss of elastic energy because of the gap-generating phonon.

Uniaxial Stress Enhanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance and Superconductivity in the Kagome Superconductor LaRu3Si2

We identify strong anisotropy in the upper critical field and magnetoresistance in the kagome superconductor LaRu3Si2, revealing pronounced electronic anisotropy. Uniaxial stress enhances magnetoresistance and Tc, with a positive correlation suggesting an electronic pairing mechanism.
