American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1974Abstract Office curettage was compared to hospital curettage in a retrospective analysis of 1,294 consecutive cases. The series includes 561 office and 733 hospital curettages performed by us from January 1960, through December 1972. Approximately one half of our diagnostic and one third of incomplete abortion curettages were performed in the office.
