Activation of Metal Complexes With Ultrasound Waves for Targeted Anticancer Therapy

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Ultrasound enables non‐invasive activation of metal‐based therapeutics deep within tumors. Acoustic cavitation can drive sonodynamic reactive oxygen species generation or mechanochemical metal–ligand bond dissociation, enabling controlled release of bioactive payloads.

Integrated aeromagnetic and radiometric analysis for geothermal and mineral resource assessment in the Central Benue Trough, Nigeria

open access: yesDiscover Energy
We present an integrated analysis of aeromagnetic and radiometric datasets to assess geothermal and mineral resource potential within the Central Benue Trough, Nigeria. High-resolution aeromagnetic data were processed using reduction to the equator (RTE),

A new method of Curie depth evaluation from magnetic data: Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
An approach to estimating the Curie point isotherm uses the classical Gauss method inverting a system of nonlinear equations. The method, slightly modified by a differential correction technique, directly inverts filtered Magsat data to calculate the ...

Prediction of the Thermal Conductivity of Polypropylenes and Propylene Copolymers Based on Crystallinity or Elastic Modulus

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
The thermal conductivity of isotactic and low‐tacticity polypropylenes as well as random, heterophasic, and random heterophasic propylene‐based copolymers, measured with the transient plane source method, is found to scale linearly with crystallinity and logarithmically with Young's modulus.

Leveraging Big Multitemporal Multisource Satellite Data and Artificial Intelligence for the Detection of Complex and Invisible Features: The Case of Extensive Irrigation Mapping

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The detection of buried or obscured archaeological features remains a central challenge in landscape archaeology, particularly in the irrigated floodplains of Mesopotamia where levees and canals formed the basis of complex agrarian systems. This study presents a deep learning–based approach for the large‐scale, automated detection of ancient ...

Study of the Processes of Electric Heating Using High-Frequency Currents in a Magnetic Field

open access: yesБезопасность техногенных и природных систем
Introduction. When heating with high-frequency currents (HFCs) at high speeds, more significant strengthening effects can be observed compared to using machine generators. Therefore, hardening at high frequencies is more efficient.
