Diverse Landscape of Tunable Magnetic, Topological, and Ferroelectric States in 2D Ti3Se3Te2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ti3Se3Te2 emerges as a multifunctional 2D van der Waals platform. The monolayer is a dynamically stable ferromagnetic quantum anomalous Hall insulator. In bilayers, two stacking configurations yield distinct phases: AA‐stacking hosts an altermagnetic quantum spin Hall insulator, while AA′‐stacking exhibits three‐state in‐plane ferroelectricity ...

Enhancing the Curie Temperature of Ferromagnetic Semiconductor (Ga,Mn)As to 200 K via Nanostructure Engineering

open access: yes, 2011
We demonstrate by magneto-transport measurements that a Curie temperature as high as 200 K can be obtained in nanostructures of (Ga,Mn)As. Heavily Mn-doped (Ga,Mn)As films were patterned into nanowires and then subject to low-temperature annealing ...

Broadening Hard‐Magnet Discovery Beyond Symmetry Constraints via Unified Effective Anisotropy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A unified effective‐anisotropy descriptor (Keff) extends hard‐magnet screening across all seven crystal systems, beyond the uniaxial restriction of conventional searches. Machine‐learning screening of 9320 known ferromagnets and diffusion‐model generation together yield 38 rare‐earth‐free or ‐lean candidates with DFT‐validated magnetic hardness (κ > 1),

A New Probe to Change Curie Temperature of PbTiO3 Sensors

open access: yes, 1997
High temperature Raman spectra of nanocrystalline Pb(0.8)Ba(0.2)TiO3, Pb(0.8)Sr(0.2) TiO3, Pb(0.8)La(0.2)TiO3 and Pb(0.8)Ba(0.2)TiO3, have been measured, as a function of particle size.
