Magnons at the Curie temperature [PDF]
Random phase approximations (RPA) have very successfully treated spin wave excitations in Heisenberg ferromagnets at low temperatures. The role played by these magnons at the order-disorder transition, however, has been a topic which has eluded RPA theories to date.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Structure evolution and magnetic properties of annealed nanoscale Gd/Ti multilayers
The structure and magnetic properties were comparatively analyzed for [Gd/Ti]n multilayers with Gd layer thickness of 1.5 to 12 nm. Multilayers were deposited by sputtering technique at room temperature and annealed for the temperatures up to 400 ºC.

Spin-Flip Dynamics of the Curie-Weiss Model: Loss of Gibbsianness with Possibly Broken Symmetry [PDF]
We study the conditional probabilities of the Curie-Weiss Ising model in vanishing external field under a symmetric independent stochastic spin-flip dynamics and discuss their set of points of discontinuity (bad points). We exhibit a complete analysis of

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

The kinase SRPK1 directly interacts with the protein TOPBP1 and regulates the pre‐mRNA splicing of WIZ thereby contributing to the activation of the ATR/CHK1 replicative checkpoint in response to replicative stress. This allows cancer cells' genomic stability and survival.

Magnetic Susceptibility of liquid Gd-NM (NM = Cu, Ga, Ge) alloys
For rare earth alloys, the indirect interaction of RKKY is at work between rare-earth atoms. Therefore, the magnetism of them depends on the number of conduction electrons and the distance between rare-earth metals.

High Curie temperature Bi1.85Mn0.15Te3 nanoplates
Bi1.85Mn0.15Te3 hexagonal nanoplates with a width of similar to 200 nm and a thickness of similar to 20 nm were synthesized using a solvothermal method. According to the structural characterization and compositional analysis, the Mn2+ and Mn3+ ions were ...
