Degree of conversion and surface hardness of resin cement cured with different curing units
The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 2006The aim of this study was to evaluate the degree of conversion and Vickers surface hardness of resin cement under a simulated ceramic restoration with 3 different curing units: a conventional halogen unit, a high-intensity halogen unit, and a light-emitting diode system.A conventional halogen curing unit (Hilux 550) (40 s), a high-intensity halogen ...

Continuous 3D printing by controlling the curing degree of hybrid UV curing resin polymer
Polymer, 2021Abstract To achieve high speed and high efficiency continuous 3D printing, interface adhesion between the cured resin and the bottom of the resin tank has to be overcome and fast stripping has to be achieved. In this paper, a method that combines low surface energy Fluorine membrane and low curing degree hybrid resin is proposed to achieve continuous

A novel method for semi-quantitative analysis of hydration degree of cement by 1H low-field NMR
, 2021Based on the analytical 1H low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique, we developed a novel method and corresponding model to analyze the hydration degree (αt) of cement in cement paste under different curing conditions.

Degree of conversion of seven visible light‐cured posterior composites
Journal of Oral Rehabilitation, 1988SummaryThe infrared spectra of seven commercially available posterior composite resins were analysed by ratioing the C = C aliphatic peak to the C = C aromatic peak. The degree of conversion ranged from 43–5 to 73–8%. The result was similar to the range previously obtained from unfilled Bis‐GMA based resins and commercial anterior composites.

Degree of polymerization between adjacent visible light-cured composite areas
Dental Materials, 1985Abstract The degree of polymerization between 2 adjacent visible light-cured composite areas was characterized by hardness measurements and scanning electron microscopy. It was observed that minimum of 20 s exposure for 1 mm overlap and 40 s for 0.5 mm overlap, between 2 light-exposed areas, produced optimal hardness.
