Effect of various curing lights on the degree of cure of orthodontic adhesives

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, 2007
The purpose of this study was to compare the percentage degree of cure (%DC) of orthodontic adhesive resins irradiated with 3 types of light sources of various intensities: plasma arc, halogen, and light-emitting diode (LED).Twenty maxillary incisor stainless steel brackets (0.018-in slot) were divided into 4 groups of 5 brackets each.

Effect of Curing Temperature and Curing Degree on Elastic Recovery of Conductive Particles [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Engineering Research, 2015
The nonlinear properties of elastic modulus of the resin in relation to curing degree of the resin was defined through the phenomenological model. The finite element model of LTCC-metal assembly, which belong to the radio frequency (RF) function layer, is established by ABAQUS.

Degree of double bond conversion in light-cured composites

open access: yesDental Materials, 1987
The curing pattern of five commercial light-cured composites was investigated. Micro-ATR infrared spectroscopy was used to evaluate the degree of cure as a function of distance from the exposed surface and curing time. KHN measurements were also obtained for each depth to relate the hardness pattern to the degree of conversion.
