Study on phenomenological curing model of epoxy resin for prediction of degree of cure
Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2012Curing course of Huntsman 1564/3486 epoxy resin system was studied under dynamic and isothermal curing conditions by differential scanning calorimetry technique. The autocatalytic cure kinetic model was established to describe the curing behaviour. A new mod- ified phenomenological curing model based on the Olivier's model was proposed to predict the ...

Changes on degree of conversion of dual-cure luting light-cured with blue LED
Laser Physics, 2009The indirect adhesive procedures constitute recently a substantial portion of contemporary esthetic restorative treatments. The resin cements have been used to bond tooth substrate and restorative materials. Due to recently introduction of the self-bonding resin luting cement based on a new monomer, filler and initiation technology has become important

Combining cure depth and cure degree, a new way to fully characterize novel photopolymers
Additive Manufacturing, 2018Abstract Bottom-up stereolithography has become a common lithography-based additive manufacturing technology (L-AMT) to fabricate parts with high feature resolution for biomedical applications. Novel vinyl ester based photopolymers, with their good biocompatibility and biodegradation behavior, showed a promising capacity as bone replacement materials.

Degree of Conversion of Experimental Light-Cured Orthodontic Adhesives
Key Engineering Materials, 2019The objectives of this study were to compare the polymerization of three experimental light-cured orthodontic adhesives by determining their degree of conversion (DOC) and to compare the results with a control (Transbond XT; 3M Unitek, USA). Three formulas of an in-house orthodontic adhesive were divided according to monomer ratio (BisGMA:TEGDMA) into ...

OPTIMIZATION OF CURING TEMPERATURE PATTERNS FOR FRP PLATE WITH UNEVEN DEGREE-OF-CURE DISTRIBUTION
2017Optimization of curing temperature of FRP was conducted when thickness-wise uneven distributions of temperature existed. It was found that the double-step temperature pattern could minimize both molding time and unevenness of degree-of-cure.

Degree of Conversion of Three Light-Cured Orthodontic Adhesives
Key Engineering Materials, 2018Introduction: The aim of this in-vitro study was to analyze the polymerization ability of 3 light-cured orthodontic adhesives by determining the degree of conversion (DC). Materials and Methods: Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to evaluate the DC after polymerization immediately, 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days.

Degree of conversion of pulsed laser cured composites
1996Clinical performance of visible-light curing composites is greatly influenced by the quality of photopolymerization. Some drawbacks of currently used photopolymerizhation units necessitate the search for new light sources. In this study, comparison was made between the degree of conversion of two hybrid composites (Tetric, Vivadent, Schaan ...
