Effect of Relining Curing Methods on Some Properties of Acrylic Resin Denture Base (Part II) [PDF]
Aims: To investigate the effect of relining by using two curing methods (water bath, or microwave) on some properties ( surface hardness, color property, residual monomer, and porosity) of relined acrylic resin denture base.

ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

Effect of In-Situ Curing on Compressive Strength of Reactive Powder Concrete
A development of Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) currently is the use of quartz powder as a stabilizing agent with the content to cement ratio of 30% and steam curing method in an autoclave temperature of 250ºC which produced a high compressive strength ...

Abstract Background A routine baseline echocardiogram is often obtained prior to anthracycline administration in children with cancer. The utility of baseline echocardiogram is unclear in patients with standard risk B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (SR B‐ALL) as their anthracycline cumulative dose is low.

ABSTRACT Background Transfusion‐related iron overload (TRIO) is a late effect of therapy impacting survivors of childhood cancer and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) who receive frequent packed red blood cell (pRBC) transfusions. Surprisingly, there are no accepted guidelines to assist providers in identifying and treating at‐risk ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
