Programmable current mode circuits

ICECS 2001. 8th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.01EX483), 2002
The paper presents a new concept of switched transconductor (ST) circuits based on the application of operational amplifiers with adjustable transconductance. It is proved that in the delay circuits proposed, one can electronically adjust its amplification, which was not possible with SI 1st and 2nd generation circuits.

Current mode signal processing circuits

1988., IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003
The authors review recent developments in current-mode analog circuit design in order to illustrate the increasing benefits which may be obtained by adopting a current-mode approach. The characteristics of mirrors and conveyors are discussed, and applications of current-mode circuits are presented, including voltage amplifiers; converters, filters, and

Current mode quaternary logic circuit

2017 International Conference on Communication and Signal Processing (ICCSP), 2017
In this paper, importance of multivalued logic circuit is given. Current mode plays pivotal role for higher radix as compared to voltage mode. Considering Quaternary Logic levels current mode based design of Min gate and Max gate is presented using 0.18um CMOS technology Cadence tool.

Feedforward current-mode allpass circuits

The 2002 45th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002. MWSCAS-2002., 2003
A feedforward configuration for realizing second-order voltage-mode allpass transfer functions with complex poles using voltage-mode op-amps is converted to a feedforward current-mode scheme for the realization of second-order current-mode allpass transfer functions with complex poles using current conveyors.

Analogue Current Mode Circuits

International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education, 1989
Circuits designed to use current as the active parameter can often outperform by a significant margin the more traditional voltage mode formulations. Many wideband circuit functions and new design opportunities are available by using current mirrors and current conveyors as basic building blocks.

Current Mode Maximum and Minimum Circuit

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014
A new current mode circuit which can maintain the maximum output and minimum output at the same time is presented in this paper. The design technique is achieved by the combination of trans linear loop, winner take all (WTA) circuit and loser take all (LTA) circuit.

Fully balanced CMOS current-mode circuits

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1993
A fully balanced current-mode circuit topology has been developed for analog signal processing applications. The basic building block, a 5-V fully balanced current mirror/amplifier, has been fabricated using a standard 2- mu m n-well CMOS process. With a peak signal to bias current ratio i/I=0.5, the open-loop total harmonic distortion was-70 dB.

Wideband current-mode absolute value circuits

ISCAS '98. Proceedings of the 1998 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.98CH36187), 2002
Two wideband current-mode absolute value, or precision full-wave rectifier (PFWR), circuits have been designed and developed. They are transistor level based designs, ideally suited for ASIC realisation. The two different, architecture circuits are described.
