Simplification of current-mode multivalued CMOS circuits

Journal of Electronics (China), 1995
This paper proposes a simplification method for realization of current-mode multivalued CMOS circuits. The key of this method is to find a cover on theK-map for a given multivalued function, which fits to the realization of current-mode CMOS circuits. The design example shows that the design presented in this paper is better than the design proposed by

IBM current mode transistor logical circuits

Proceedings of the May 6-8, 1958, western joint computer conference: contrasts in computers on XX - IRE-ACM-AIEE '58 (Western), 1958
The current mode circuits discussed in this paper and in preceding papers are intended for use in a very large, high-speed digital computer. From the circuit standpoint, this machine could be classed as a mixed synchronous-asynchronous system in which the outputs of chains of logic are often sampled by clock pulses.

Current mode circuits for programmable neural networks

2000 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems. Emerging Technologies for the 21st Century. Proceedings (IEEE Cat No.00CH36353), 2002
In this paper novel AB class neuron structures that set foundations for low power VLSI neural networks and other applications are proposed. The analog AB class circuits for activation function and programmable weight synaptic connections are presented and discussed. A qualitative comparison is made between standard and proposed circuits.

Synthetic neural systems using current-mode circuits

IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002
An approach to the engineering of VLSI analog computing systems is presented. The approach emphasizes the role of currents as an appropriate signal representation, the need for low power dissipation, and the need for simplicity in the basic functional circuits.
