A Biomarker‐Driven Ovary–Endometrium Organ‐on‐a‐Chip Mimicking 3D Multicellular Complexity and Menstrual Cyclicity for Predicting Reproductive Toxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a dual‐organ, biomarker‐integrated ovaryendometrium organ‐on‐a‐chip that recapitulates 3D tissue complexity, menstrual cycle dynamics, and hormonal crosstalk. This platform enables real‐time, cell‐typespecific fluorescent readouts of reproductive toxicity using ANGPTL4 and SERPINB2 as early‐response reporters.

The US current account deficit : how did it come about and what are the policy implications [PDF]

open access: yes
One of the most remarkable characteristics of the world economy today is the enormous, ever worsening US balance of payments current account deficit, which reached a record level of 5.7 p.c. of GDP in 2004. This has given rise to concerns in academic and

Amyloid β Instigates Cardiac Neurotrophic Signaling Impairment, Driving Alzheimer's Associated Heart Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This research identified cardiac amyloid pathology, neurotrophic factor depletion, and reduced myocardial nerve function in a transgenic model of cerebral amyloidosis (Tg2576), Aβ‐challenged cardiomyocytes, and in human AD heart tissue. These findings carry significant diagnostic and therapeutic implications, emphasizing the role of neuro‐signaling ...

The Determinants of Current Account Imbalances in Malawi [PDF]

open access: yes
Persistent current account imbalances in many least developed and emerging countries have excited considerable interest among researchers and policy makers to have a clear understanding of the dynamics of the current account and its role in macroeconomic

MicroRNA‐375‐3p Targets Fatty Acid Synthase and Relish to Regulate Energy Allocation During Pupal Metamorphosis and Starvation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During pupal metamorphosis and starvation, elevated 20‐hydroxyecdysone (20E) and suppressed insulin trigger Forkhead box O (FOXO) nuclear translocation, enhancing miR‐375‐3p expression. This downregulates fatty acid synthase (FASN) and Relish, promoting lipid breakdown for energy while prioritizing antioxidant responses over immune functions to support
