Construction of the K=8 Fractional Superconformal Algebras
We construct the K=8 fractional superconformal algebras. There are two such extended Virasoro algebras, one of which was constructed earlier, involving a fractional spin (equivalently, conformal dimension) 6/5 current.

CURRENT ALGEBRA AND SUPERSYMMETRY [PDF]
The implications of supersymmetry and chiral Ward identities in supersymmetric gauge theories are explored using current algebra methods, and a critical assessment is made of the relative merits of the current algebra and effective Lagrangian approaches.

Central Extensions of Current Algebras [PDF]
The second cohomology group of Lie algebras of kind L ⊗ U L \otimes U with trivial coefficients is investigated, where L L admits a decomposition with one-dimensional root spaces and U U is an arbitrary associative commutative algebra with unit. This paper gives a unification

Leibniz algebras: a brief review of current results
Let $L$ be an algebra over a field $F$ with the binary operations $+$ and $[\cdot,\cdot]$. Then $L$ is called a left Leibniz algebra if it satisfies the left Leibniz identity $[[a,b],c]=[a,[b,c]]-[b,[a, c]]$ for all $a,b,c\in L$.

Semi-classical central charge in topologically massive gravity
It is shown that the warped black holes geometries discussed recently in 0807.3040 admit an algebra of asymptotic symmetries isomorphic to the semi-direct product of a Virasoro algebra and an algebra of currents.

FUSION RULES FOR EXTENDED CURRENT ALGEBRAS [PDF]
The initial classification of fusion rules have shown that rational conformal field theory is very limited. In this letter we study the fusion rules of extended current algebras. Explicit formulas are given for the S-matrix and the fusion rules, based on the full splitting of the fixed point fields. We find that in some cases sensible fusion rules are

The half-infinite XXZ chain in Onsager's approach
The half-infinite XXZ open spin chain with general integrable boundary conditions is considered within the recently developed `Onsager's approach'. Inspired by the finite size case, for any type of integrable boundary conditions it is shown that the ...

The Second Cohomology of Current Algebras of General Lie Algebras
AbstractLet A be a unital commutative associative algebra over a field of characteristic zero, a Lie algebra, and a vector space, considered as a trivial module of the Lie algebra . In this paper, we give a description of the cohomology space in terms of easily accessible data associated with A and .
