DIGITAL FILTER REALIZATION USING CURRENT CONVEYOR [PDF]
By using the concept of current conveyor, new 1st order and 2nd order digital filter sections are developed. These are then used as building blocks in a cascade synthesis.

Double-Differential Amplifier for sEMG Measurement by Means of a Current-Mode Approach
This work proposes a Double Differential (DD) amplifier topology which exploits the advantages of the current-mode approach. DD amplifiers are useful as front-ends in standalone active electrodes for superficial electromyography (sEMG) wearable ...

Noise properties of CMOS current conveyors [PDF]
The definition of the current conveyor is presented and it is shown how different generations of current conveyors can all be combined into a single definition of a multiple-output second generation current conveyor (CCII). Next, noise sources are introduced into the model, and a general noise model for the current conveyor is established.

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

Ultra-Low Power CMOS Readout for Resonant MEMS Strain Sensors
This paper presents an ultra-low power, silicon-integrated readout for resonant MEMS strain sensors. The analogue readout implements a negative-resistance amplifier based on first-generation current conveyors (CCI) that, thanks to the reduced number of ...

Winner-Take-All and Loser-Take-All Circuits: Architectures, Applications and Analytical Comparison
Different winner-take-all (WTA) and loser-take-all (LTA) circuits are studied, and their operations are analyzed in this review. The exclusive operation of the current conveyor, binary tree, and time-domain WTA/LTA architectures, as the most important ...
