Non-linear response of a Kondo system: Perturbation approach to the time dependent Anderson impurity model

open access: yes, 1999
Nonlinear tunneling current through a quantum dot (an Anderson impurity system) subject to both constant and alternating electric fields is studied in the Kondo regime.

Current-Induced Second-Harmonic Generation in Silicon

open access: yesFrontiers in Optics, 2006
The contribution to the optical second-harmonic generation resulting from the dynamic influence of the direct electric current flowing along the silicon (100) surface on the electron distribution anisotropy in the surface region is observed.

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Parametric PSpice Circuit of Energy Saving Lamp Emulating Current Waveform

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
Energy-saving lamps are equipped with converters enabling high energy efficiency at the cost of injecting very distorted currents on the mains. The problem is more complex in the emerging smart-lighting scenario where these lamps are also used to perform

Response of Glass and Liquid Phases in the Vortex lattice to an external AC magnetic field at different frequencies

open access: yes, 2004
We individuated a method to distinguish a glass phase from a highly viscous liquid phase in a lattice of vortices, established in type-two superconductors.

Short‐Wavelength Infrared Imaging with Organic Photodetectors Based on Non‐Fullerene Acceptors with Detection above 1200 nm

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Solution‐processed organic photodetectors (OPDs) based on two novel low band gap non‐fullerene acceptors BZIC‐2F and BZIC‐2Cl, when blended with common polymer donor P3HT, extend detection range beyond 1200 nm with superior performance, rivaling costly inorganic sensors and past literature.

Neuromorphic Electronics for Intelligence Everywhere: Emerging Devices, Flexible Platforms, and Scalable System Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The perspective presents an integrated view of neuromorphic technologies, from device physics to real‐time applicability, while highlighting the necessity of full‐stack co‐optimization. By outlining practical hardware‐level strategies to exploit device behavior and mitigate non‐idealities, it shows pathways for building efficient, scalable, and ...

Current Harmonics Suppression of Six-Phase Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor Drives Using Back-Electromotive Force Harmonics Compensation

open access: yesEnergies
This paper investigates a back-electromotive force (EMF) harmonic compensation strategy for six-phase permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) to reduce current harmonics and improve system performance.

An improvement of a single-plane balancing method via residual current of a rotor directly coupled to an induction motor

open access: yesNova Scientia, 2016
An efficient method for single-plane rotor balancing which requires some components of the electric signal spectrum from each phase of the electric motor to which it is directly coupled is developed.
