A Fast Diagnosis Method for Both IGBT Faults and Current Sensor Faults in Grid-Tied Three-Phase Inverters With Two Current Sensors

open access: yesIEEE transactions on power electronics, 2020
This article considers fault detection in the case of a three-phase three-wire (3P3W) inverter, when only two current sensors are used to save cost or due to a faulty current sensor.

A High-Sensitivity Current Sensor Utilizing CrNi Wire and Microfiber Coils

open access: yesSensors, 2014
We obtain an extremely high current sensitivity by wrapping a section of microfiber on a thin-diameter chromium-nickel wire. Our detected current sensitivity is as high as 220.65 nm/A2 for a structure length of only 35 μm.

Channeled Polarimetry for Magnetic Field/Current Detection

open access: yesSensors
Magneto-optical magnetic field/current sensors are based on the Faraday effect, which involves changing the polarized state of light. Polarimetric methods are therefore used for measuring polarization characteristics.

Enhanced Sensitivity of FeGa Thin-Film Coated SAW Current Sensor

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
A surface acoustic wave (SAW) device is proposed for sensing current by employing the patterned FeGa thin film as the sensitive interface. The layered media structure of FeGa/SiO2/LiNbO3 was established to reveal the working principle of the sensors, and
