Biocompatibility With Osteogenic Potential of Premixed Bioceramic Cements for Use in Apical Surgery
ABSTRACT This study investigated the biocompatibility and osteogenic potential of premixed bioceramic cements (PBCs)—CeraPutty, EndoCEM MTA Premixed, Well‐Root PT, and One‐Fil PT Injectable—as alternatives to mineral trioxide aggregate for retrograde filling in endodontic microsurgery.

How to Discern a Physical Effect from Background Noise: The Discovery of Weak Neutral Currents [PDF]
In this paper I try to shed some light on how one discerns a physical effect or phenomenon from experimental background ‘noise’. To this end I revisit the discovery of Weak Neutral Currents (WNC), which has been right at the centre of discussion of some ...

Targeting KRAS for cancer therapy
In recent years, therapeutics targeted against KRAS proto‐oncogene GTPase (KRAS)‐mutant cancers have seen significant progress. Herein we outline the biology and epidemiology of KRAS alterations at the lineage and allele levels, reviewing the clinical evidence for KRASG12C inhibition from the discovery of the recessive switch pocket to sotorasib ...

Circulation and transport in the western boundary currents at Cape Farewell, Greenland [PDF]
The circulation and volume transports in the western boundary currents around Cape Farewell, Greenland, are derived from full-depth hydrographic and velocity measurements from August-September, 2005. The western boundary currents from surface to seafloor

ABSTRACT Aim(s) To identify and map the relationship between nursing work environments and patient safety for older adults ≥ 65. Design Scoping review and consultation exercise. Methods Systematic searches of five databases were conducted in 2022, 2024 and 2026. Two reviewers independently screened titles/abstracts and subsequently by full‐text review.

Abstract Plumes from sulfur dioxide (SO2) point sources have been shown to be significant contributors to new particle formation (NPF), but SO2 emissions in the United States (US) have decreased drastically by ∼10× since the early 2000s. We present observations of plume‐scale NPF from SO2 point sources over the industrial hub in Gary, Indiana and ...

Abstract Hadrosaurid dinosaurs are generally regarded as “crested” or “non‐crested” depending on the presence or absence of a bony cranial crest. At least one supposedly “non‐crested” hadrosaur is known to have possessed a soft tissue cranial crest (or comb), based on an exceptionally preserved “mummified” specimen. Here we redescribe this specimen and

Aqueous zinc‐ion batteries are viable for grid‐scale storage. Dendrites, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution hinder their deployment. Sodium salts of medium‐chain fatty acids (C12–C14) are chosen as electrolyte additive. They block side reactions while sustaining Zn2+ transport.

Abstract This paper describes the development and application of GLAMM (GFDL's Aerosol Microphysics Model) within the GFDL atmospheric model AM4.0 framework. Unlike the bulk aerosol schemes previously used in AM4.0, GLAMM employs a modal representation that explicitly tracks the evolution of aerosol mass and number concentrations and accounts for ...

The interaction of periodic surface gravity waves with slowly varying water currents [PDF]
Includes bibliography. The governing equations for interactions between surface gravity wavetrains and slowly-varying water currents are derived and the incorporation of Vocoidal water wave theory into this framework is discussed.
