Remarks on Mӧller mistaken famous paper from 1943 [PDF]

open access: yes
Einstein field equations was originally derived by Einstein in 1915 in respect with canonical formalism of Riemann geometry,i.e. by using the classical sufficiently smooth metric tensor, smooth Riemann curvature tensor, smooth Ricci ...

Numerical Modeling of Tank Cars Carrying Hazardous Materials With and Without Composite Metal Foam

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Large‐scale puncture models consisting of hazardous materials (HAZMATs) tank car with protective steel–steel composite metal foam (S–S CMF) are solved numerically. Tank car plate with added 10.91–13.33 mm thick S–S CMF layer does not puncture. Protective S–S CMF absorbs impact energy, reduces plate deformation, and prevents shear bands formation ...

Doubly warped product manifolds: Investigations through the projective curvature tensor and relativistic applications

open access: yesAIP Advances
This paper introduces a description of a doubly warped product manifold, taking into account certain conditions related to the projective curvature tensor.

Rafting of Ni‐Based Superalloys Under Multiaxial Load as Understood by Phase‐Field Simulations and Critical Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Additive Manufacturing of Continuous Fibre Reinforced Composites: Process, Characterisation, Modelling, and Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Additive manufacturing provides precise control over the placement of continuous fibres within polymer matrices, enabling customised mechanical performance in composite components. This article explores processing strategies, mechanical testing, and modelling approaches for additive manufactured continuous fibre‐reinforced composites.

Some invariant theorems on geometry of Einstein non-symmetric field theory

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1983
This paper generalizes Einstein's theorem. It is shown that under the transformation TΛ:Uikℓ→U¯ikℓ≡Uikℓ+δiℓΛk−δkℓΛi, curvature tensor Skℓmi(U), Ricci tensor Sik(U), and scalar curvature S(U) are all invariant, where Λ=Λjdxj is a closed 1 ...

Understanding the Stochastic Nature of Process Parameter Development of Blown Powder Laser Beam Directed Energy Deposition Additive Manufacturing of Pure Molybdenum

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Identified through the use of statistical design of experiments and metallographic investigation, this study exposes the stochastic origins of intergranular cracks in blown powder laser beam directed energy deposition additive manufacturing of pure molybdenum. It further demonstrates a successful crack mitigation approach with direct correlation to the

Numerical Exploration of Thermal Shock Resistance in MgO–C Refractories

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A mesostructure‐resolved numerical framework is developed to evaluate the thermal shock resistance of MgO–C refractories. By modeling interface debonding under rapid temperature changes and introducing a modified thermal shock parameter that accounts for mesocracks, the study shows how graphite content and aggregate size influence thermal shock ...

Curvature coordinates to describe the explosion of Chernobyl’s reactor core in April 1986, using the tensor equations

open access: yesSistemnì Doslìdženâ ta Informacìjnì Tehnologìï, 2017
This research analyzes the process of the explosion of the reactor core of Chernobyl nuclear plant in April 1986, using the tensor equations. These tensor equations show a movement of a vector in the three dimensional curvature coordinates of time, water
