Dynamic Current Routing in Conductive Liquid Crystal Elastomers for Complex Deformation Actuators
This work introduces a novel actuation control strategy in which electrical stimulation generates localized Joule heating in conductive liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) surfaces, enabling complex 3D deformations from a single homogeneous surface without preprogramming.

ABSTRACT Quantifying oral polymorphonuclear neutrophils (oPMNs) is a clinically validated approach for assessing periodontal inflammation. However, current methods, such as manual hemocytometry and flow cytometry, are time‐consuming (>3 h), require invasive sampling, and depend on staining and complex instrumentation, making them unsuitable for point ...

Singularities of Curve Shortening Flow with Convex Projections
We show that any closed immersed curve in $\mathbb R^n$ with a one-to-one convex projection onto some $2$-plane develops a Type~I singularity and becomes asymptotically circular under Curve Shortening flow in $\mathbb R^n$. As an application, we prove an analog of Huisken's conjecture for Curve Shortening flow in $\mathbb R^n$, showing that any closed
