Quantum Eigenstates of Curved and Varying Cross-Sectional Waveguides
A simple one-dimensional differential equation in the centerline coordinate of an arbitrarily curved quantum waveguide with a varying cross section is derived using a combination of differential geometry and perturbation theory.

Research and strength analysis of hoop bending test of composite fuselage integral frame
As the main bearing structure of civil aircraft, the fuselage frame is of great significance to the weight of the aircraft.A hoop bending test is carried out on the composite fuselage curved panels with C-type and Z-type integral frames to study the ...

Accelerated frames and galactic rotation curves
In this paper, the galactic rotation curve is analyzed as an effect of an accelerated reference frame. Such a rotation curve was the first evidence for the so-called dark matter. We show another possibility for this experimental data: non-inertial reference frame can fit the experimental curve.

Exact free vibration of symmetric three-layered curved sandwich beams using dynamic stiffness matrix
In the present study, the governing differential equations of motion are developed by using the Hamilton principle for a three-layered curved sandwich beam with symmetric face layers.

T T ¯ $$ T\overline{T} $$ deformed YM2 on general backgrounds from an integral transformation
We consider the T T ¯ $$ T\overline{T} $$ deformation of two dimensional Yang-Mills theory on general curved backgrounds. We compute the deformed partition function through an integral transformation over frame fields weighted by a Gaussian kernel.

Framed curves in the Euclidean space [PDF]
Abstract A framed curve in the Euclidean space is a curve with a moving frame. It is a generalization not only of regular curves with linear independent condition, but also of Legendre curves in the unit tangent bundle. We define smooth functions for a framed curve, called the curvature of the framed curve, similarly to the curvature of ...

A Curved Microstrip Patch Antenna Designed From Transparent Conductive Films
Transparent microstrip patch antennas suffer from low radiation efficiency and gain when manufactured using transparent conductive films (TCFs), mainly at low frequency (starting from the microwave S band).

Framed Curves, Ribbons, and Parallel Transport on the Sphere
AbstractWe consider curves$$\gamma : [0, 1]\rightarrow {\mathbb {R}}^3$$γ:[0,1]→R3endowed with an adapted orthonormal frame$$r: [0, 1]\rightarrow SO(3)$$r:[0,1]→SO(3). We wish to deform such framed curves$$(\gamma , r)$$(γ,r)while preserving two contraints: a local constraint prescribing one of its ‘curvatures’ (i.e., off-diagonal elements of$$r'r^T$$r′
