An efficient navigation method using progressive curverization in virtual endoscopy

Abstract Virtual endoscopy provides visualization of inner surface of the human organ using three dimensional volume models. Fast and accurate path generation and navigation in virtual endoscopy is the most important feature. We propose a real-time navigation method that computes camera position and makes a continuous curved path in ray-casting step.
