Rank of divisors on tropical curves [PDF]
We investigate, using purely combinatorial methods, structural and algorithmic properties of linear equivalence classes of divisors on tropical curves.

ABSTRACT Background Osteosarcoma (OS) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are the most common primary bone cancers in children, but acute thrombosis is poorly characterized in this population. Our study evaluated the rates of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and associated risk factors in pediatric patients with bone sarcomas treated over a 10‐year period encompassing

Quaternion-Based Representation of Rotation Minimizing Motions in Euclidean 3-space
This paper presents a quaternion-based framework for constructing rotation-minimizing motions in Euclidean 3-space, formulated via quaternion operator. By introducing a novel quaternion operator, we derive angular velocity representations directly from ...

Cartan's method of moving frames is briefly recalled in the context of immersed curves in the homogeneous space of a Lie group $G$. The contact geometry of curves in low dimensional equi-affine geometry is then made explicit.

ON ARITHMETIC CURVES IN THE MODULI SPACES OF CURVES [PDF]
The author studies several types of curves and higher-dimensional objects, such as origamis and eigencurves (or eigenloci in general), inside the moduli spaces of curves, paying attention specially to arithmetic properties. He considers, in particular, certain curves which were associated by W. Veech with rational polygonal billiards.

ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

For all integers g ≥ 6 we prove the existence of a metric graph G with w41=1$w_4^1 = 1$ such that G has Clifford index 2 and there is no tropical modification G′ of G such that there exists a finite harmonic morphism of degree 2 from G′ to a metric ...
