Three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes computations of internal flows [PDF]
Several incompressible Navier-Stokes solution methods for obtaining steady and unsteady solutions are discussed. Special attention is given to internal flows which involve distinctly different features from external flows. The characterisitcs of the flow

Generation of Curvilinear Coordinates
The authors have discussed the method and merit of introducing the curvilinear coordinates into numerical analysis and have shown some numerical examples. However, they used analytical functions for the mappings in the examples and didn't mention how to generate a mapping numerically between the physical and mapped coordinates.

Abstract An important development in the study of face impressions was the introduction of dominance and trustworthiness as the primary and potentially orthogonal traits judged from faces. We test competing predictions of recent accounts that address evidence against the independence of these judgements. To this end we develop a version of recent ‘deep

AN ACCOUNT OF REINFORCEMENTS IN A SHELL ANALYSIS BY VARIATIONAL-DIFFERENCE METHOD
A ribbed shell of a general form consisting from a skin, a position of points of the middle surface of which is determined by the orthogonal curvilinear coordinates ?, ?, and curved ribs, lying along coordinate linesareconsidered.

We present a 25‐stage reconstruction of the ice‐flow pattern evolution of the Scandinavian Ice Sheet based on mapping and analysis of ~240 000 subglacial lineations and lineation fields across Norway, Sweden, Finland, and parts of NW Russia. Our reconstruction uses a glacial geomorphological inversion approach, in which we generated 611 individual ...

Numerical generation of two-dimensional orthogonal curvilinear coordinates in an Euclidean space [PDF]
A noniterative method for the numerical generation of orthogonal curvilinear coordinates for plane annular regions between two arbitrary smooth closed curves was developed.

The plasticisation model of dye diffusion: Part 7
Abstract Re‐evaluation using the Williams‐Landel‐Ferry equation, of exhaustion/fixation/adsorption data previously reported for four classes of anionic dye onto three different types of wool substrate, revealed that thermally activated dyeing/desorption behaviour is governed by the thermally regulated structural relaxation times of the respective water‐

The plasticisation model of dye diffusion: Part 8
Abstract Re‐evaluation using the Williams–Landel–Ferry equation, of exhaustion/rate of dyeing/fixation data previously reported for and acid dye, natural dye and two reactive dyes on three different types of silk substrate revealed that thermally activated dye diffusivity is governed by the thermally regulated structural relaxation times of the ...

Splitting of inviscid fluxes for real gases [PDF]
Flux-vector and flux-difference splittings for the inviscid terms of the compressible flow equations are derived under the assumption of a general equation of state for a real gas in equilibrium.
